KEY TAKEAWAYS

The short answer.

Map current manufacturer references to the exact supplied catalog generation.

Peak-hour figures have stated test conditions and are not guaranteed mixed-menu output.

The counter, milk routine, facilities approval and service plan belong in the decision.

01

Start with the busiest guest experience

A hotel lobby and a breakfast room can ask very different things of a coffee station. Record when guests arrive together, who operates the machine and whether the station also serves tea or other drinks. The useful purchase question is what must happen during the busiest interval, not simply how many occupied rooms the property has.

Use an illustrative service map: a guest chooses a drink, finds a cup, prepares or collects it and moves toward milk, sugar or the seating area. Count the points where another guest can block the route. Equipment capacity matters, but the machine cannot solve a counter layout that forces everyone to stand in one place.

02

Compare exact current references before mapping catalog names

Eversys currently describes the Cameo C’2ms Classic as a single-operator or self-service reference and the Enigma E’4ms Classic as a single- or dual-operator or self-service reference. The current models have different layouts and simultaneous-cup specifications. Catalog names using m, plus or Super Traditional need exact supplied-generation mapping before those current specifications are applied.

Ask the supplier to provide the supplied model identifier, configuration and installation sheet. An attractive family name is not enough to establish the milk system, outlet arrangement or site requirements. Keep this answer attached to the quote so facilities, purchasing and the installer are all planning the same equipment.

03

Treat published peak output as a reference condition

The current C’2ms Classic page lists 175 espresso preparations per peak hour, and the E’4ms Classic lists 350, both based on a 23-second extraction reference. These are manufacturer figures for those exact current references. They are not a guaranteed rate for your mixed menu, guest behavior, chosen cup sizes or carried catalog generation.

Build the assessment around the intended menu. Demonstrate the common milk drink, the longest black drink and any hot-water demand during the busy period. Include cup changes and replenishment in the observation. Ask what practical output and staffing the supplier recommends for the actual installation rather than copying the largest reference number into a procurement target.

04

Specify milk and recipe responsibilities

Decide who chooses the saved recipes and who may change them. A hotel often needs repeatable recipes that staff can recognize quickly and guests can use comfortably. The milk configuration should match the number of milk choices, the refrigeration arrangement and the cleaning ownership. Verify those choices on the exact supplied machine rather than assuming all Eversys references share the same package.

For a staffed station, assess how the operator’s cup-handling and finishing work fits beside the machine. For self-service, test the interface with someone unfamiliar with the equipment. Automation changes the work; it does not remove the need for a person responsible for food handling, supplies and the closing routine.

05

Make facilities approval part of the purchase

Eversys commercial installation planning requires the exact approved water, drain, electrical and treatment arrangement. Have the installer check the supplied generation and configuration before the quote becomes an installation commitment. A current reference sheet is useful evidence, but it should not silently replace the installation requirements of a differently named catalog machine.

Survey service access, ventilation, the counter structure and the path for equipment delivery. Include refrigerators, waste handling and accessories in the approved drawing. Arrange the work so the hospitality team can maintain service during installation, with a realistic backup plan if commissioning takes longer than expected.

06

Ask for the service plan in operating language

Confirm who handles scheduled maintenance, how a fault is reported and what local response is included. Eversys warranty conditions depend on installation, maintenance and telemetry status; manufacturer parts coverage and local labor arrangements are separate. Purchasing should retain the written terms rather than reducing all coverage to a single two-year badge.

The final brief should identify the peak workload, exact configuration, guest workflow, site approval and service owner. Choose between Cameo and Enigma only after those facts have been tested. The premium experience is a guest receiving a familiar cup without confusion, supported by a station the hotel team can keep ready every day.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Useful answers, before you decide.

Can I use the largest published hourly figure as my hotel’s guaranteed output?

No. Apply the figure only to its exact model and stated reference conditions, then test the intended drink mix and workflow with the supplier.

Does Eversys manufacturer parts coverage automatically include local labor?

No. Confirm local labor, travel, response times and service arrangements separately from the manufacturer’s written parts warranty.
