COFFEE SYSTEMS / OFFICES

Coffee for the way your team works.

Build an office coffee station around your team’s real demand, with intuitive drinks and an operating plan that lasts beyond installation.

Planning guidance, not a site specification. Final capacity, utilities and installation depend on the selected equipment and location.

THE OPERATING MODEL

Design for the busiest minutes—not the average day.

Daily volume sets the scale. The peak reveals the workflow. Read both beside the menu, operator, utilities and service plan before choosing a platform.

INPUT 01How many drinks are served daily and during the busiest fifteen minutes?

THE FIELD GUIDE

Six decisions that shape a workable system.

Each chapter focuses on a decision that changes machine fit. Read the opening point, then unfold the detail when it matters.

01

The daily rhythm

Begin with the people who actually use the station. A twenty-person office with frequent visitors can serve more drinks than a larger hybrid team.

Continue the field note

Count drinks on a typical day, the busiest day and the busiest fifteen minutes. Include afternoon cups, decaf requests and meeting guests. Record whether everyone arrives together or demand spreads across shifts. Those patterns decide whether a single machine creates a pleasant pause or a queue beside the kitchen.

02

Choose the right scale

The JURA W8 carries a recommended maximum of 50 drinks per day. The GIGA X8 reaches 200 per day and is positioned by JURA for office floors and conference settings.

Continue the field note

Treat these as daily planning limits, then check the morning rush separately. The catalog X10 needs its exact generation confirmed before using the latest model’s capacity figures. Larger or more concentrated demand can move the discussion toward Eversys, with workflow and installation verification still required.

03

Make self-service feel natural

An office station should match the people using it. One-touch milk drinks can simplify a varied menu, while a dedicated black-coffee setup can reduce complexity for an espresso-focused team.

Continue the field note

Ask about decaf, alternate beans and cold-extracted drinks separately. A milk refrigerator keeps milk cold; it does not add cold brewing. Position cups, lids and waste so someone collecting a finished drink does not block the next person choosing theirs.

04

Plan the counter as a whole

Measure the available width, depth and height, including overhead cabinets, water-tank access and space for milk equipment. Identify the actual outlet and circuit, then check whether a dedicated water line and drain are possible.

Continue the field note

A refillable JURA setup and an installed Eversys station involve different preparations. Filtration should follow a water assessment and the selected machine’s requirements. Leave room for routine cleaning and service access before treating a compact body dimension as a complete fit.

05

Give ownership a name

Assign a person or rotating team to milk-system cleaning, water and bean refills, grounds disposal and supply ordering. Make those tasks part of the station design rather than an informal favor.

Continue the field note

For a larger office, record the local service contact and decide what happens during downtime. Warranty length alone does not answer that question. JURA’s US terms distinguish workplace machines from household purchases, while Eversys warranty conditions also depend on telemetry and shared operating data.

06

Build a shortlist with evidence

Start with demand, operator expectations and the available utilities, then choose a machine and a compatible accessory package. Avoid buying an oversized platform solely for a larger drink menu, or a household model solely because it has a premium finish.

Continue the field note

The machines shown here are planning starting points. A confirmed recommendation needs the selected model, peak demand, installed space and service arrangement to agree. Your final equipment subtotal should also identify installation, filtration and other costs that remain unquoted.

SITE READINESS

The machine is one line in the site plan.

Confirm what surrounds it before cabinetry, utilities or purchasing are finalized.

01

Verify daily and peak demand separately.

02

Confirm exact X10 generation.

03

Assign daily cleaning and replenishment.

04

Verify counter clearances, utilities and local service.

Tri-state commercial installation is available upon request, subject to site, machine and service-area confirmation.

These model families are reasonable planning candidates for this setting—not a site-specific recommendation or capacity guarantee. Confirm demand, workflow, configuration and installation before ordering.

FROM SHORTLIST TO SITE PLAN

Turn the service plan into an equipment brief.

Share the peak window, service model and site conditions. The consultation narrows the field before retailer checkout.

YOUR OPERATING BRIEF

Use actual drink demand—not employee count. For more than 2,000 drinks per site daily, speak with a specialist.

Peak planning equivalent120drinks / hour

Your 15-minute demand × 4. This expresses the intensity of the rush; it does not predict machine output.

Across your locations200drinks / day

Assumes the same stated daily demand at each location. Model each site separately when routines differ.

A workflow people can use.

Choose employee self-service, staffed preparation or barista service. Confirm automatic versus manual milk preparation.

Ready for your facilities team.

Confirm electrical supply, treated water, drainage, counter clearances, milk cooling and service access before specifying equipment.

A coffee program with an owner.

Assign daily cleaning and replenishment. Agree on installation, local service, warranty coverage and repair arrangements for every site.

Plan the busiest fifteen minutes.

Daily ratings and lab output do not guarantee sustained mixed-drink service. A specialist should verify capacity and configuration before a commercial order.
