The short answer.
Compare the exact model, condition and intended use before comparing durations.
Parts, labor, usage limits and service arrangements are distinct questions.
Keep the invoice, installation record and applicable written terms together.
Start with the exact product and intended use
A warranty comparison begins with the machine’s identity, condition, country and intended use. New household equipment, workplace equipment and factory-serviced units can have different terms even within one brand. Keep the exact article number, serial identifier and purchase invoice together so the written policy can be applied to the delivered machine.
This guide summarizes public US-oriented references reviewed for the purchase decision. It does not determine an individual claim or replace the applicable written terms. Ask the seller which policy applies to the exact order, particularly when a bundle combines the machine with accessories, consumables or a retailer service arrangement.
JURA: read the duration and brewing limit together
JURA’s public US policy lists new household automatic machines at two years or 6,000 brewings, whichever comes first. New workplace automatic machines have one year or 6,000 brewings, and factory-serviced automatic machines also have a one-year or 6,000-use limit under the relevant wording. Eligible manufacturing defects include parts and labor; authorized US purchase and proper care are material conditions.
The practical lesson is to separate household and workplace models when comparing quotations. Do not assume that a premium household feature list grants commercial coverage. New accessories have their own policy, while care supplies and replacement consumables must not simply inherit the machine’s term. Confirm what is covered for the exact accessory before treating a bundle as uniformly protected.

Nuova Simonelli: parts coverage and service arrangements
Nuova Distribution USA’s dealer policy revised June 23, 2026 states 24 months from the original invoice for new espresso equipment and 12 months for other new non-espresso equipment. Its manufacturer obligation is limited to eligible defective parts. Installation, maintenance, water quality and approved service coverage are important conditions; labor and wear items are separate considerations.
Ask who installs the machine and who provides local support. A quotation outside the dealer’s direct service area needs the approved service arrangement required by the policy. Keep the site approval and water-treatment plan with the invoice. A concise duration badge cannot communicate those operating responsibilities by itself.
Eversys: telemetry and usage change the term
Eversys lists online telemetry-connected equipment at up to 24 months from installation or 100,000 products per group head, whichever comes first, with a shipment-date cap. Offline equipment follows shorter terms and different registration and shipment conditions. The policy concerns eligible defective parts; approved installation, prescribed maintenance and compliant water quality matter to coverage.
Have the supplier explain the exact online or offline arrangement, how installation data is registered and what the local service plan includes. Retain that answer with the handover record. Do not equate manufacturer parts coverage with a promise of free local labor, uninterrupted operation or a guaranteed response time.
Compare five practical questions, not one large number
For each shortlisted machine, record when the term starts, what usage limit applies, whether parts and labor are both included, what the owner must maintain and where a claim is handled. Add any transport, travel or service responsibility that affects the intended site. These answers make unlike policies understandable without pretending they are identical.
For a commercial buyer, also distinguish warranty work from scheduled preventive maintenance and business continuity. Decide what happens during a fault: a second station, temporary alternative service or a local support arrangement. Those plans may be important even when an eligible part is covered, because a warranty does not automatically replace lost service time.

Keep a simple equipment record from day one
Create one record containing the machine and accessory identifiers, invoice date, installation date, approved installer, relevant policy and support route. Store water-treatment and care records where the responsible staff can find them. This is especially useful when purchasing, facilities and hospitality teams are different people.
Before paying, ask the retailer to confirm any unresolved policy or service detail in writing. CoffeeDepot helps explain the differences and direct the order to the retailer; it is not the warranty provider. A trustworthy purchase presentation makes these boundaries easy to understand while keeping the decision focused on the equipment and routine the buyer needs.
Useful answers, before you decide.
Does a two-year badge mean every repair cost is included?
No. Read eligible defects, parts, labor, use limits, exclusions and service arrangements separately. The applicable written policy controls the individual product.
Who handles my purchase and warranty entitlement?
The retailer handles checkout and order support, and the applicable manufacturer or service provider determines coverage under the written terms. CoffeeDepot is an affiliate showcase, not the warranty provider.
